Centered around the theme “You’re The One,” Brunch on Purpose emphasized the power each individual holds to create lasting change and break generational cycles. It showcased the potential everyone has to inspire transformative change, encouraging attendees to continue making a positive impact within their families and communities.

Pod Friends is an innovative new creative skill-building initiative by Born On Purpose, designed to empower transition-aged youth (18 to 23) in Broward County on the cusp of aging out of the foster care system. Using a Positive Youth Development approach, this program leverages podcasting to breed resilience among its participants by increasing individual, peer, and community protective factors, equipping young people with the tools and support necessary to navigate the challenges of transition into adulthood and deter delinquency. By providing a nurturing environment and relevant instruction, Pod Friends aims to transform the trajectory of participants' lives, boosting self-reliance, interpersonal skills, and a sense of belonging within their communities. With an emphasis on creative expression and skill-building, the program facilitates a supportive network of peers, mentors, and resources, empowering these individuals to thrive beyond the constraints of their past experiences. The program will implement two 8-week seasons a year, Fall and Spring, and expects to serve ten youth per season (twenty youth per year).

Play on Purpose (POP) is a series of lively, intergenerational spaces that unite families and foster connections to strengthen family bonds. POP events provide safe and fun environments, both indoor and outdoor, i.e. Skate on Purpose, for children to play and enjoy, while cherished memories are created.

Ice Cream Sunday is a pop-up ice cream parlor that spreads joy and inspiration while nurturing the spiritual journeys of at-promise youth and adolescents. Beyond serving delicious treats, we offer an opportunity for youth to connect and develop their spirituality through enriching games and activities. Our mission is to create a safe environment where children can enjoy sweet moments and receive positive spiritual mentorship and purpose-centered reinforcement.

The Dream On Purpose Experience (DOPE) provides a safe and nurturing environment for at-promise youth and young people to unleash their imaginations through immersive creative-arts projects. Participants engage in hands-on activities and collaborative experiences that foster innovation, self-expression, and artistic exploration across genres. DOPE empowers youth to explore their wildest dreams while developing valuable skills for authentic personal growth.

Purpose Beyond Bars is a strength based re-entry program offering mentorship, consistent connection, and spiritual guidance. Our unique approach empowers participants to uncover and embrace their life's purpose, identifying their strengths and passions and utilizing them as stepping stones for success. With dedicated mentors and holistic support, we inspire personal growth and resilience, paving the way for a triumphant return to the community.

Born on Purpose Certified is a youth employability program dedicated to fostering connections with employers to create valuable opportunities for at-promise youth aged 16+. Each young person receives hands-on guidance from Retired On Purpose Extending Services (ROPES) program mentors, who emphasize responsibility, reliability, and character development while exposing participants to new career options. These young candidates are supported through every phase of the employment process, adding trust and assurance for our community employment partners and creating a confident, reliable workforce ready to excel in their roles.

Purpose Girls is a mentoring program dedicated to transforming the futures of girls aged 9 to 18 from historically marginalized communities. Our program focuses on helping young women discover their purpose by equipping them with essential life skills and emotional intelligence. Through a comprehensive curriculum, engaging workshops, field trips, and mentorship from inspiring female leaders across various fields, we foster empowerment, leadership, and community engagement. Our goal is to cultivate a new generation of confident and capable change makers who are prepared to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
